Unisea Shipping of Greece has signed a new contract to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning software system from Singapore-based JiBe across the Unisea organisation and its fleet of 20 bulkers and tankers.

The JiBe platform creates a centralised database for company information, accessible locally or in the Cloud, with individual dashboards for different users depending on their information requirements.

The software includes integrated artificial intelligence analytics to provide real-time operational predictions and alerts depending on risk profiles.

“Unisea is a great addition to our client base in Greece,” said Theodoros Papoutsoglou, leader of the JiBe implementation team in Greece.

“We recently added to our clients Enesel SA and Stamco which are in the midst of implementation. JiBe has made it its mission to provide both a best of breed functionality for each of the departments in the shipping organisation, but at the same time, maintain a single version to serve thousands of ships.”

“To date we have over 1,500 vessels running on one identical version, which means our clients have a more powerful platform and they do not depend on customisation.”
